WTT Champions Chongqing: Everything you need to know

Hugo’s second international competition in 2025 will be the WTT Champions Chongqing, in China. Part of the second most important world tour series, the tournament will take place from March 11 to 16.
Hugo is the #5 seed in the WTT Champions Chongqing. The competition features the best players in the world rankings in each draw – check out here the full list of participants.
BRAZILIANS IN CHONGQING
In addition to Hugo, the WTT Champions Chongqing will also feature another player from Brazil: Bruna Takahashi, ranked #21 in the world.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
The WTT Champions Chongqing will feature men’s and women’s singles events in a single-elimination system, with 32 players in each bracket.
Matches will be played in best of 5 games until the quarter-finals. From the semi-finals onwards, the matches will be best of 7 games.
