WTT Champions Incheon: Everything you need to know

The week after the WTT Star Contender Chennai in India, Hugo will have his next challenge on the international table tennis tour: the WTT Champions Incheon in South Korea. Part of the second most important world tour series, the tournament will take place from April 1 to 6.
Hugo is the #2 seed in the WTT Champions Incheon. The competition features the best players in the world rankings in each draw – check out here the full list of participants.
Hugo’s debut is already set. He will face South Korean Lim Jonghoon in the first round on Wednesday.
BRAZILIANS IN INCHEON
In addition to Hugo, the WTT Champions Incheon will also feature another player from Brazil: Bruna Takahashi, ranked #18 in the world.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
The WTT Champions Incheon will feature men’s and women’s singles events in a single-elimination system, with 32 players in each bracket.
Matches will be played in best of 5 games until the quarterfinals. From the semifinals onwards, the matches will be best of 7 games.
